E stands for everything
Nokia's E-series has long been associated with business exec types. But the E65's slim, sliding chassis, combined with its soft, faux-leather rear panel, give it styling cues that belong both in a boardroom and at a cocktail party. Being a business phone means that the E65 has its share of productivity apps. The QuickOffice suite lets you open spreadsheet or word processor docs. Nokia even throws in a "Team Suite" client, that lets you manage conference calls, messages and even internet bookmarks with your workmates, thanks to its intuitive interface.
Speaking of the net, this handset surfs not just the 3G wave, but the 802.11g variety as well. A connectivity wizard helps configure your Wi-Fi, and supports common security protocols such as WEP. Websites are served up nicely by the MiniMap browser. A quick install of Agile Messenger will cure your instant messaging blues, and to top it all off, the E65 also supports Internet telephony via VOIP. Let's see what the local telcos think about that!
