HEADPHONES
Perfection
Show who's Bose

These cans are expensive, but your money is put into owning the finest and sweetest piece of ear candy. Music comes out with amazing clarity, as if you were hearing tracks for the first time. What was once a previously undecipherable guitar sequence in the background is instantly audible.

When used with a Sony PSP, the Triport OE responds very well to the equalizer presets. Browse through each setting and you'll notice a distinct change in the headphones' output. With the Heavy setting chosen, low frequencies become incredibly beefy. Every bounce of the ball in NBA Live 07 sounds as if you're sitting right next the hardwood.

The snug fit of the cushioned earcups makes for perfect noise isolation. Unlike your usual headphone cups that have hollow centers, the Triport OE's cups mold to your ear, keeping most ambient noise out. This means that even though these headphones don't sport noise cancellation, they sound just like headphones that do have them.

Borrowing the Rock's phrase, we'll put the smack down on Bose's Triport OE right now. If you're planning on getting a headset (and if you just happen to be stinkin' wealthy), this is the pair you should go for. The only thing missing from these already impressive headphones is an in-line volume control, true noise cancellation, and perhaps, a discount. Joey Tuazon

HATE The price makes you want to get a second job.

WE SAY It's too good a product not to be given perfect marks. Look beyond the price, though.
