Bling thing
There isn't much the the N11 doesn't have - in fact, it even has a crystal in front for that bit of bling!
Most importantly, sound quality is good, especially with SRS and the ability to tweak bass and to boost voice - really handy for poor recordings. The N11 can be made to simulate playlists with the included Windows Explorer-like file browser. It's still not as easy as with the iPod but hey, it's close.
The "M" key does double duty, it toggles between single play, repeat and loop during actual playback and, when you hold it down, it puts you in the menu. The Play/Stop button also does the two-step as it also acts as the select key - logical enough.
Using the N11 as a flash drive is no problem except that you have to have a USB cable handy all the time. Ditto for charging.
If there's a bit of a downer, it's the fact that it doesn't use regular headphones. Though the set that comes with it is pretty good, you may have something better or you may want to connect the N11 to your stereo system.
Would we recommend this over the iPod shuffle? Well, let's put it this way: the shuffle doesn't have a screen, a voice recorder, FM radio, and (drum roll, please) you can't get the 1GB model for P6,395! Erick Lirios
