Q: What's better than an MBP?
A: A 17-inch MacBook Pro!

If you're looking for a laptop that'll send envious glances your way, then pop one of these open at the local hotspot. If the sheer bulk of this silver slab doesn't catch people's attention, then the humongous 17-inch widescreen will.

Thanks to an Intel Dual-Core CPU under the hood, multitasking is now a breeze. A dedicated ATI graphics chip takes care of rendering duties - you can even pump out your presentation via the DVI port to an external monitor or projector. A generous 1GB of RAM means loading times are kept to a minimum. Install the universal binary version of Call Of Duty 2, and the MacBook Pro makes short work of those Jerries.

Aside from iPhoto, the MBP also ships with the rest of Apple's iLife suite of apps - iMovie HD for movie production, iDVD for DVD playback, and GarageBand for making your own music tracks.

Staring at you from the MBP's lid is the iSight camera - perfectly positioned for videochatting thru iChat or Yahoo Messenger. The camera does a pretty good job, even in less-than optimal lighting conditions. It even doubles as a still camera, with a host of photographic effects for you to play with.

Unfortunately, this wideboy doesn't run cool - the all-aluminum casing acts as some sort of giant heatsink. But if you're looking for the biggest, baddest-ass laptop in the market today, the MacBook Pro will do nicely. Plus, it runs Windows XP, too!. Agu Paiso
