Has work really been that toxic, you need to bring it along with you everywhere? With all these gizmos and gadgets getting smaller, handier, and more efficient, work load is what they're trying to address. As though you really want to take them—and your work—along with you when you're out, frolicking.
Take the NEC Versa S3200 for instance. It's unbelievably tiny and it's loaded with a myriad of features - and it's mighty efficient, too that you'd want to take it along on your next mall trip to get some shi--, er, work done, while the missus is busy shopping.
It has Gigabit LAN, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a built-in 1.3 megapixel camera, and a DVD drive. It's also Vista compatible, so it's quite future-reliable. So you're thinking, the wifey will take forever in the fitting room you might as well do something while waiting. Perhaps watch a few DVDs, too.
With its feature set, the Versa takes into consideration that yes, there is much work to be done. But its weight—lordie, it's over four pounds—reminds you that, no, work shouldn't haunt you while you're spending “quality” time with your wife. HATE Super small, you're tricked into thinking it's super light. But it's super not!
