Clicking made easy
The FE series is a welcome addition to the already impressive point-and-shoot Olympus stable. The FE series’ first shot at wowing camera buffs—the FE-210—knocks the opposition via focusing on efficiency and taking the easy-to-use tag to the heart.
Design is slick. It’s the usual shape, but every corner of the 210 is crafted to match its functions, meaning, bulking up the cam to include space for self-boasting stickers and junking futile buttons.
Relative to the prices of the competish, the 7.1-megapixels is a steal. But the real selling point with the FE-210 is its embedded how-to- guide. It won’t make you a master at bending light but it would definitely make you better than most of fly-by-night rush ID stalls.
Point the mode dial to SCREEN and you can select from 10 scene modes to set your cam on. With the FE 210, it’s like buying a For Dummies photography book. It’s hard to say anything negative about this one. B.A. Borleo
